Welcome to Poe Bookkeeping. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and our bookkeeping services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Poe Bookkeeping provides professional online bookkeeping services. We rely entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the financial information, receipts, invoices, and data provided by you (the "Client"). We do not audit or independently verify the information you submit.
2. No Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Legal Advice
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, our services consist strictly of bookkeeping. We do not provide certified tax audits, formal legal advice, or official CPA opinions. For complex tax structuring or legal compliance matters, you should consult a licensed CPA or attorney.
3. Fees and Billing
Recurring Monthly Retainer: Services are billed on a recurring monthly retainer basis. Payment for the upcoming month of service is automatically charged or invoiced in advance on your designated billing cycle date.
All Sales Final: All payments made for our retainer services are non-refundable. There are no refunds, partial refunds, or credits issued for partial months or unused services.
Late Payments: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately if your recurring payment fails or is not received within 5 days of the due date.
4. Account Security and Portals
If you are provided with a secure login portal to upload documents, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poe Bookkeeping shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
